Yeah, whatever. We want this DONE! NOW!
We are back to interviewing realtors. That would be one piece of advice I would give to anybody wanting to sell their home. Don't pick a realtor "friend." And, interview several people. It will feel like a pain in the butt (unless you have a loving man to handle all the details for you, like me), but we have been surprised at the different approaches that realtors take in home selling. The first one I hired wasn't aggressive, nor did he help me much in getting the home sell-able. So, it sat on the market for 6 months getting mid-range to poor reviews. The next lady we met wants us to list it low--which makes her sell numbers look great (she sells my house in less than 3 months for a "steal"), but we end up bringing a very large sum of money (in the tens of thousands of dollars) to closing. We've gotten in touch with the Dave Ramsey "endorsed local providers." 2 were on the list, so The Boy is interviewing them this week to see how they compare with the last lady we spoke with. We are hoping to list by the 3rd week of February.
A few updated photos.
